ISPS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – KIMBERLY G. JACKSON, ESQ.

Kimberly is a native of Crete, Illinois. She has her B.A. from Spelman College in Political Science, J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, and MIPP from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Sciences, (SAIS). She practiced trial law locally in St. Petersburg and gained a passion for nonprofit advocacy with family-oriented agencies.

Following her daughter’s diagnosis of Asperger’s syndrome, she transitioned from her legal career to higher education. Her journey at St. Petersburg College included teaching American Government, State and Local Government and International Relations. Additionally, she led and mentored our SPC Model United Nations scholars, and serving as the Political Science Chair before becoming the Executive Director of the Institute for Strategic Policy Solutions, (ISPS).  

Under Kimberly’s leadership, the Institute has been reorganized, rebranded, and reinvigorated to educate and engage students and citizens in support of effective, impactful, solution-oriented public policy by expanding the Institute’s presence and mission throughout the Florida College System, community, and state through relevant programming and partnerships.
